Volunteering

For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve...

Mark 10:45

Volunteer is not a word we find in the Bible.  Jesus did not come to volunteer but to serve. A servant is not above his Master.

Jesus is people focused.  We want to be people focused, and not time focused.  A servant uses their gifts to serve others.  A servant wants to help people grow and mature. A servant does keep track of what they do, and more importantly Who they are doing it for.  A servant seeks God to know where He wants them to serve.

We want to help you find the place that God has called you to serve in.
God has given you gifts and will give you the grace to serve others.  You will need to step out in faith to find your place of service.  We are here to come along side you as you grow and mature in God’s call on your life.

Serving FAQ

How do I  Serve?

We have four levels of Service.

There are all kinds of opportunities to serve that you can start right away.

We have areas that we require you to take the Champion Foundation Class and the Champion Membership Class first before your serve.

We have areas that that have additional requirements.

We have areas that also require demonstrated maturity and faithfulness.

Ask a Superintendent about any area you are interested in.

How do I Serve  students?

We value our young people very highly.  We have a process in place to ensure the highest level of safety and security for our young people.  To serve young people requires prerequisite safety training and background checks.

How do I Serve in Worship?

We view Worship as a vital Ministry and therefore have a process in place to ensure that those who Serve in Worship have the proper training to Serve effectively.  The first step towards serving in Worship is to take the Champion Worship Class.
